Why Hire a Personal Trainer?

Everyone needs a Personal Trainer at one time or another, even seasoned athletes!

  • A Personal Trainer offers years of training and experience, coupled with a strong understanding of anatomy and movement, to help you on your way.
  • A Personal Trainer can help you formulate clear, attainable goals for you to work toward. As well, a Personal Trainer can help you recognize and shift self-destructive habits that may keep you locked into your current state of unwellness (too stressed, too heavy, too breathless to make it up that next hill!).
  • A Personal Trainer can also make you feel comfortable in the gym. As well, we create an individual, targeted workout regime to help you attain your goals, and offer variety and flexibility in your workouts.

We will also supervise you in your training, to ensure your posture, form and exercise execution is done properly. And of course, we motivate you to do your very best!

How Does it Work?

The first meeting is the most important. Here, we work hard to define your short and long term goals, which are ultimately necessary for overall success. Once defined, we create a workout program that best supports those goals. Your goals may include any of the following.

  • Lose weight
  • Tone
  • Increase your energy level
  • Decrease stress levels
  • Build muscle
  • Improve your game
  • Competition

Whatever your goals, it is importance that we clearly define them, so we can take the shortest and most effective path towards reaching them!

From here, we set up your own 3-pronged approach to fitness that includes the basic tenants of health: strength, flexibility and cardiovascular health.

We can also discuss nutrition and diet, supplementation, ways to reduce stress, how to improve vitality and energy, and more. Because health is a multifaceted subject.

What Can I Expect?
You can expect results! That's what we want! If you put in the effort, and I do my job properly, we can expect to reach your goals as outlined in our first meeting together. And that's exciting. It just takes consistency, focus and good leadership.

Will I Get Muscle-Bound?
Contrary to popular belief, you won't end up like Schwarzenegger. Women's bodies don't produce the testosterone (male hormone) responsible for larger muscles. What you will get are toned, sexy curves of muscle.

If I quit, won't my muscle turn to fat?
Muscle is muscle and fat is fat. One can't become the other. Besides, you're not going to quit!

I don't have time to work out.
Yes you do. You just have to rearrange your schedule (and your priorities). I'll show you how. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day, but it was built.

How Do I Choose a Personal Trainer?

Nothing says 'healthy' better than a well-toned, fit body. When you're feeling strong and healthy, your energy is high, your step is sure and you ooze confidence and grace!

Whatever your goals and vision, choosing the right trainer for you requires some responsibility on your part. Before you pay your hard-earned money to the first trainer that comes along, ask yourself (and them) a few key questions.
