Our Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. That's why it's important that you understand some key points regarding your personal information.
First, when you participate in any one of our programs or services, you will be required to provide us with personal information. This is so we can best create a program or service to suit your needs. Your information is used exclusively by McCoy Fitness & Health, and we will not rent, sell or share personal information with other individuals or companies. Any information we gather is on a voluntary basis, is kept confidential and will be treated with respect.
Second, the information we gather from you helps us determine the success of our programs, products and services. It helps to ensure that our participants will receive appropriate programming and services, and that we are meeting the many needs of our clients, and our community at large.
Third, your information is also important to us for many 'in-house reasons'. Your statistical information helps us determine who our populations are, what their specific needs are, and what we need to create or change to fulfill those needs. It helps us target our programs, services and products more effectively and efficiently, and in a timely manner.
If you have signed up for a personal training session, you will be asked personal information regarding your current health status, medications, rehabilitation practitioners you are currently working with etc. This is necessary so that we can best create an appropriate, safe and challenging work out program to suit your individual needs.
If you have signed up for a nutrition or wellness seminar, we may ask you questions regarding your background, and health and wellness concerns. Again, this is to ensure we continue to meet your individual needs and/or the needs of the group.
If you have signed up for Health Matters, our free e-newsletter, you may receive e-bulletins regarding new programs, products, seminars and services. If you are new to Health Matters, we may ask you some demographic information to again help us assess our client population so that we can best serve you, our client.
You can help us meet your needs by ensuring your personal information is accurate and complete. If you need to make a change or if at any time you wish to be removed from our email list, please notify us at kmccoy@direct.ca or by phone at 250. 654.0573.
We welcome your comments. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
Regards,
Karen McCoy
